Cons

  • Pricey.

Lazesoft Data Recovery Professional Edition is an easy-to-use data recovery application that can recover files lost because of various reasons, including accidental deletion, system crashes, virus attacks, drive formatting, disk corruption, software failures, and so on.

A remarkable thing about Lazesoft Data Recovery Professional Edition is the fact that it supports a large variety of types of storage devices including the usual hard drives (SATA, SCSI, FireWire, SSD, USB HDD, External HDD, Hardware RAID, etc.), but also floppy drives, USB flash drives, Compact flash cards, SD and memory cards, and so on.

Anyway, the thing I like the most about this tool is its very fast scanning speed. Compared to other data recovery tools, Lazesoft Data Recovery Professional Edition scanned a disk partition and displayed the recoverable data in a very short amount of time.

Its interface is pretty simple and easy-to-use, but it also looks rather unpolished and superficial. It also comes with various file filters that help you find recoverable files faster, and a neat preview function.

To sum it all up, Lazesoft Data Recovery Professional Edition is a typical data recovery application that has some strong points but also some downsides. The trial version allows recovering only 100 MB of actual data, so you may take advantage of this fact and give this tool a try for yourself, and see if it suits your data recovery needs.
